Story – The Shadow Forged

This weeks story belongs to my shadow series. The two trilogies that I had planned were about Jayden and his mother Shalli. The first trilogies, which was podcasted was about Shalli, the Second which I planned but have only written the first one was about Jayden. Jayden is a little different, and this story explain why that happened.

100 Word Story – Whiffle Balls

Here is another 100 Word Story about Raoul.

The dogged bounced around my legs with joy.  His tail wagged so fast it was a blur.  I looked around for the owner but the park was empty.  “Get out of here.” I yelled.

The dog stopped and looked up at me with large brown eyes.  It dropped a ball at my feet and barked.  I reached down and picked the ball out.  I looked at ball and then threw it as hard as I could; the ball few about ten feet before hitting the ground.

“If I find the man that invented whiffle balls, He will eat that ball.”

Site Down – Updated

Hello, Some of you have likely noticed that the site was down recently and that the old posts are not here. My site was hacked (I think due to bad setup on the server software that I was using. I have new software installed and hopefully I won’t have the same issue again. I will be re-posting everything that was up and then looking at what new content will be. Not sure how long this will take but hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

I have reconstructed the site, all the stories are posted again. Hopefully for good this time, and I will have to remember to take backups. I have another 100 Word Story scheduled for Wednesday and I will look at having something bigger for next Sunday.

So this story was written as part of a flash fiction contests hosted by Escape Pod a number of years ago.
